For me, the presence of blossom is a sign of renewal and better times ahead.

After three poor seasons of blossom, this burst of life, although fleeting, is a welcome change.

I added a fill colour layer in pink to bring out the blue hues and pinks of the blossom.

I set the opacity to 89% and bought down the fill colour’s potency to 22%

Early morning sunlight plus my new spangly prime lens make for a beautifully sharp, close up shot.

I’m currently taking a dressmaking course and I’m really enjoying using all of the tools and equipment. Especially cutting out the pattern pieces.

There’s nothing more satisfying than smoothing out a pattern piece and pinning it to a fresh piece of fabric.

Tonight I cut out a collar in Paisley print; I can’t wait to piece everything together!
